Maria Luísa Souza was a research fellow (IC/FAPERJ) in the academic project “Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal: The Legacy of the 1974 Russell Tribunal II in Latin America and the Contemporary History of Human Rights.” She also served as a teaching assistant in the course Supervised Internship V – Special Procedures in Criminal Law.
Before joining the team at PDK Advogados, Maria Luísa was part of the legal team at a renowned Brazilian criminal law boutique. She is currently a researcher in the “CAPES/DAAD: Spheres of Citizenship in Rio de Janeiro and Berlin: Rights, Frontiers, Agencies” project.
