Harumi Miasato is a lawyer certified in PDPE by EXIN, and a member of the Brazilian National Association of Data Privacy Professionals and the National Association of Digital Law Lawyers.
A technology and innovation enthusiast, she views technology as a tool to connect market sectors, share knowledge, build a new economy, foster civic engagement and governance, and, above all, promote democratization.
She applies her expertise to Privacy and Personal Data Protection Programs, data mapping analysis and diagnostics, risk assessments involving personal data processing, and the development of mitigation recommendations, procedures, and policies.
Harumi is a consultant, volunteer, collaborator, and creative thinker. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Digital Law and Compliance, has basic knowledge of Solidity programming (used for smart contracts), and is part of the TED Talks community through the TEDxPetrópolis production team.
