Digital Evidence Collection

All solutions

We specialize in the collection of digital evidence, following scientific methodologies to preserve its original conditions and ensure the validity of the evidence.

Due to characteristics such as immateriality, volatility, fragility, high dispersal capacity, and risk of loss, the involvement of specialized attorneys is essential.

Digital evidence, because of its volatile nature formed by binary computer combinations, is more susceptible to tampering than conventional evidence (those involved in “physical” world crimes). Just as it is obtained, it can be altered or destroyed at a similar speed.

Our Technical Opinions, across various legal areas—including cybercrimes, validation of screenshots from messaging applications in labor claims and/or lawsuits, as well as assisting in identifying illicit behavior occurring in the virtual environment—follow the methodology of the Technical Standard NBR ISO/IEC 27037:2013, which provides guidelines for the identification, collection, acquisition, and preservation of digital evidence, along with best national and international practices, including those established by ENISA (European Union Agency for Network and Information Security).
